UPDATE: Missing Gogebic County Girl Found Safe

UPDATE 8/6/2023: A missing girl in Gogebic County has been found safe. On Saturday the Gogebic County sheriff responded to a report on August 5th, of a 15 year old girl who had run away, and gone missing from the home. Authorities were told she may have left the home late Friday night or early Saturday morning. After officials were able to make contact with the teenager, she was safely returned home to Wakefield Township.

Authorities in Gogebic County are searching for a missing girl.

The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department says 15-year-old Tamara Lyn Hash is believed to be a runaway. She left her residence in Wakefield Township sometime between midnight and 8 a.m. this morning (Saturday, August 5th).

Tamara is described as roughly 5’4″ tall and 140 pounds, with dark brown hair. She is believed to be wearing a black colored hoodie, but it is not known what other clothing she would be wearing. She may not be wearing shoes, as all of her footwear appears to be at the residence. Tamara has friends locally and it is believed she is still in the local area.
