Hancock Library’s used Book Sale will Support Updates for the new Young Children’s Room

Just because summer is almost over doesn’t mean there isn’t enough time to pick up another book to read before school starts. August 4th and 5th, the Hancock Schools Library will host its annual Used Book sale, offering students and local a chance to pick up and own their favorite book from the library. The used book sale is by donation, meaning those stopping by can donate whatever amount for the items they plan to purchase from the library. The donations from this year’s used book sale will help the library purchase a new computer and table for the new Young Children’s Room. The used book sale will also act as an opportunity to check out the new updates to the space over the past year, sign up for a library card, and join the summer reading program. The summer reading program runs until the end of August, when organizers will draw winners for the program’s prize drawing.

The book sale will run August 4th from 2-6 pm, and August 5th from 10am – 2pm.
