Kilpela Added to Wall of Fame at Successful Aura Jamboree

Organizers of the Aura Jamboree are celebrating another successful event last weekend.

Preliminary figures show that attendance may have dropped a bit, but revenues rose significantly. Money raised supports the historic 90-year-old Aura Community Hall. 

At the event on Saturday, longtime volunteer and musician Ed Kilpela of Aura was added to the Jamboree’s Wall of Fame. 

Planning for next year’s Aura Jamboree begins tonight, with a meeting at 7:00 at the hall. Anyone interested in helping to organize the event is welcome.
