Record-breaking Bridgefest 2023 Wrap-up

Bridgefest was a huge success, with multiple records broken.

The parade had a record-breaking number of entrants, and the float winners have been decided:

  1. Quincy Mine (won $500)
  2. The Bluffs (won $300)
  3. Superior National Bank (won $200)

The boat parade winners were also announced:

  1. Andrew Ericson
  2. Patrick McFall
  3. Mark & Suzanne Miron

During the events along the waterfront, one clicker at one gate counted 10,000 people for the weekend.

“I mean we’ve seen [a] record at our car show that we had. We had about 25 more vehicles, but our Touch-A-Truck event was huge, the ski show really came out, all of our vendors were very happy with their revenue, and some even sold out, and it was just overall a great weekend and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect either. We’d like to thank our presenting sponsor, UP Portage Health again for their tremendous support throughout Bridgefest 2023 and then of course all of our other sponsors as well, we couldn’t have done it without their generosity.” – Katie Schlief, Bridgefest Coordinator

Keep an eye out on social media and on the Chamber of Commerce website for pictures of Bridgefest that will be posted.
