Stickers To Be Placed On New Trash/Recycling Bins, Which Continue To Be Delivered

The City of Houghton announced the delivery of trash and recycling bins will continue.

Waste management will come place stickers on them to identify which one is for trash, and which one is for recycling.

Landlords are asked to put away the bins that have already been delivered at residences where the tenants are gone for the summer.

Until the bins are delivered, please keep using your normal trash bags.

If you have your bin, remember that the lid must be closed, and any overflow will not be picked up. If you have any questions, you can contact the city of Houghton.
