Houghton City Council, DDA, and Planning Commission To Have Joint Meeting

Houghton’s City Council, Downtown Development Authority, and the Planning Commission will be meeting to discuss opportunities for the city’s near future.

The meeting will cover a multitude of topics, and update everyone on projects.

No details are released on what discussions will take place regarding certain topics, but the meeting will cover the following: 

• Information from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation
• City Properties
• The social district in downtown Houghton
• Updates on the Masterplan
• Updates on the Lakeshore Drive demolition project.

The meeting will take place tonight at 5:30 at the Bonfire.
