Parade of Nations Logo Contest Winner Announced

A Lake Linden-Hubbell High School senior has been named the winner of this year’s Parade of Nations logo contest.

Natalia Janczewska’s design reflects this year’s theme, “Fairy Tales from Around the World”.

In vivid reds, golds and black, it includes a flying dragon, the Pied Piper, Little Red Riding Hood, and other imagery.

Janczewska studies with Lake Linden High School art teacher Heather French.

The artwork will be used to promote this year’s Parade of Nations, which will be held September 16th.

The parade will begin at 11:00 in Hancock, and travel to Dee Stadium in Houghton. At the Dee, more than a dozen food booths will offer delicacies from around the world.
