EGLE’s Office of the Clean Water Public Advocate, in collaboration with various state divisions and agencies, is using this week to educate the public on their drinking water and provide tips that residents can use to make sure they have good tap water by connecting residents to drinking water resources.
Those who have private residential wells are responsible for caring for their own drinking water source, as they are generally not monitored after the initial well construction and inspection.
