It is not uncommon to struggle to find a way to recycle your electrical appliances.
The Koppers Hubbell Plant will host an E-waste recycling event on Earth Day, Saturday April 22.
This means that anything with an electrical component that doesn’t work any more can be dropped off at the plant. From there, the E-waste will be driven down to Indiana to be recycled.
Last year, the event had a total of 19,414 pounds of E-waste. See the break down of different electronics below.
- 600 pounds of CRT Monitors
- 8,835 pounds of CRT TV’s
- 2,736 pounds of LCD TV’s
- 472 pounds of LCD Monitors
- 2,714 pounds of Printers
- 4,057 pounds of Computers
Drop off your E-waste between 9a.m. and 4p.m.
