M-28 Near Wakefield Closed Due to Flooding

The M-28 east of Wakefield is closed due to flooding. 

East-bound traffic will be detoured US-2 to M-64, and westbound traffic is reversed.

Crews are working to direct the flooding. 

It closed on April 16, and there is currently no estimate for when the road will open back up again.

The Ottawa National Forest has closed a number of forest, and county roads due to widespread flooding. The department is additionally concerned about blown down trees due to high wind speeds, and saturated soil. The forest service has closed County Road 527, Old US-2 east of Forest Road 3340, and Forest Roads 2270, 1100, 2130, 8300, and 3640.
