The Hancock master plan sessions are meetings open to the public to gather input from residents on the development of Hancock.
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) will run exercises that will facilitate discussion between residents and the representatives of the Hancock.
The meetings are family-friendly with snacks available.
The Community Master Plan (CMP) was developed in 2018, but with the nomination of Hancock as a Redevelopment Ready Community last year, the CMP will be updated this year.
Both meetings follow the same format so you can choose the one that fits best in your schedule. The first meeting is tonight (April 12), 5-7p.m. at Studio Pizza in the Orpheum Theater in downtown Hancock. The second meeting is April 13, 5-7p.m. at the Houghton County Arena in the Sisu Room.
