Congressman Jack Bergman to Rejoin Budget Committee in Washington

Michigan’s first congressional district representative, Jack Bergman, has found his committee assignments for the 118^th congress. Representative Bergman will return to the committees on veterans affairs and house armed services. He also rejoins the House Budget committee; he served with the budget committee previously in 2017 and 2018. Bergman additionally was named Chair of a subcommittee. He will lead the Armed Services Intelligence and Special Operations subcommittee. Congressman Bergman was reelected this past November, defeating Democrat challenger Bob Lorinser. Rep. Bergman stated, “Serving on these three critical committees in the new Republican Majority is an honor and I’m ready to hit the ground running.
