Teen Snow Ball to Raise Funds for Dial Help

High school students from across the Copper Country will be dancing for fun, and for a good cause, tomorrow night.

The Copper Country Snow Ball semiformal has been put together by seniors at Houghton High School. Organizer Stella Wickstrom thinks it will be a unique opportunity for students…

Most schools normally just have prom, and that’s the one dance they have a year, since their schools are so small. It will be nice to have all these kids there, so that they can have a fun time with other kids that they know from other schools, and have a dance, as well.

The Snow Ball will be held at Dee Stadium. Doors open at 8:00 tomorrow evening. The cost is $10, and Wickstrom says that money will help some of their peers…

Proceeds from this dance are actually going to go to Dial Help for Communities That Care, so they go back to our community and hopefully help with teen mental health.

The color theme is blue and silver. Find out more about the event here.
