The Copper Country Intermediate School District Board saluted employee Sierra Bishop at its meeting this week.
Bishop is the December recipient of the Superior Educator award through the Portage Health Foundation.
In a quiet meeting, the board hired Janie Erkkila as a Speech Language Pathologist, and Jeremy Sandrik, Instructional/Bus Aide.
They accepted the resignations of Naomi Michaelson, Timothy Stites and Sabrina Loven-Gulick.
