Memorial Day Reservations Now Available at Most State Parks

As we continue to enjoy Thanksgiving leftovers, it’s time to start thinking about next summer’s camping season.

Campsites and slip reservations at Michigan State Parks and Harbors can be reserved online beginning six months in advance. That means you can now lock in your site for the Memorial Day weekend.

The exception is McLain State Park, where improvements being made will keep the campground closed at least through May. State officials say they may be able to begin accepting reservations in March.
