31 Backpacks To Stuff Spring Break Bags

Volunteers are needed to help stuff backpacks to make sure children will have enough food for when they go home from school.

31 Backpacks provides Copper Country students will food every school weekend and school holidays.

The all-volunteer organization serves a total of 9 Districts with deliveries to 16 school buildings and provides food for 183 students.

Students will be on Spring Break for 9 days starting this Saturday will return to classes on April 6th.

31 Backpacks volunteers will pack enough food items to provide meals for the 9 days.

Packing will take place at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Hancock on Thursday starting at 5:30 p.m.

The packing takes about an hour.

Even though this program is for children, volunteers are urged to not bring their children to help.
