The Houghton City Council will hold its post-election organizational meeting tonight.
A mayor and mayor pro-tem will be elected, and committee assignments will be reviewed.
There are no changes on the council itself – current mayor Bob Backon, mayor pro-tem Robert Magowen and council members Mike Needham and Craig Waddell were re-elected last Tuesday without opposition.
The organizational meeting begins at 7:30 at the City Center.
