Dora Annie Keranen of Ahmeek, Michigan died on October 17, 2022, peacefully at Silverstone memory care, in Appleton, Wisconsin. Dora was born on June 1, 1933, in Newcastle, North Shields, England to Adam and Elizabeth (Pate) Dunn.
Dora attended Michigan tech and pursued a career in accounting. She met her husband, Kenneth Keranen in England in 1954. They were married January 29,1955.
Dora loved to draw and paint; she had many friends she would visit and drive to appointments. She is a former employee at Calumet public hospital.
Dora is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth A. Keranen
Dora is survived by her son Paul, daughter Sandra, and son Steven.
A funeral service for Dora Keranen will be held at Erickson-Crowley-Peterson in Calumet, Michigan on Wednesday, October 26th at 11:00 with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 am.
