Ontonagon Man Killed in Crash

An Ontonagon man was killed in a traffic crash late Thursday night.

Sheriff’s deputies report that 33-year-old Brennan Sharlow was a passenger in a vehicle that veered off Norwich Road south of Domitrovich Road, skidded 400 feet through a ditch, and hit a tree.

Sharlow was killed. The driver suffered serious injuries, and was taken to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital after being extracted from the vehicle.

The driver’s identity has not been released.

The Ontonagon Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
