Halloween Arrives Saturday in Lake Linden

The Halloween season begins Saturday evening, as the Lake Linden Campground hosts its annual Spooktember event. The public is welcome, and you do not need to be registered at the campground.

Refreshments will be available between 6 and 8. A costume parade for children and adults starts at 7, with prizes in several age groups.

Trick-or-treating through the campground begins at 7:30. Trick-or-treaters must be in costume.

Sky lanterns that can be released after dark will be available for $3.

At dusk – probably around 8:30 – the family film Addams Family II will be shown at the pavilion. Admission is free. Popcorn and cider will be available for 25 cents each. Organizers suggest you bring your own chair.
