Back at last by popular demand, The Keweenaw County Historic Society has brought back the Ojibwe Cultural Dance program. Tonight at Mohawk Park, the dance troupe from the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community will perform significant cultural dances. And will be accompanied by explanation from the KBIC Cultural Committee. Bring a chair and join in on this outdoor presentation. Please wear comfortable shoes, if you plan to join in on dancing. The Meaning Behind the Dance: An Exhibition of Ojibwe Dances, will start at 7 pm tonight, at the Mohawk Park on US-41. The event is free, and donations are greatly appreciated.
