M-28 Construction at Lake Gogebic Begins Today

Westbound travelers will encounter delays on M-28 near Lake Gogebic beginning today.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will resurface nearly 13 miles of the highway from the junction of northbound M-64 westerly to the Ontonagon-Gogebic County line.

Travelers will encounter intermittent single lane closures.

The project will cost around $3 million, and should be completed by late September.
