M-26 Roadwork Starts in Dollar Bay – Tamarack City

Road work began yesterday in the Dollar Bay – Tamarack City area. The 4.6 mile stretch of resurfacing construction costs one million dollars, and is a part of the state’s record 3.5 billion dollars spent on road work across the state this year. The 6th Street to Tamarack Hill Road work will include sealing, asphalt milling, resurfacing the road shoulder, and painting. Drivers should expect intermittent single lane closures, until work finishes in about a month. The project is expected to wrap up August 26th.
