The Calumet Village Council could learn more tonight about how energy-efficient – or inefficient – its historic village hall and theatre complex is.
U.P. Engineers and Architects is scheduled to make a presentation about the building’s thermal envelope. A thermal envelope is the structure that keeps the outside out, and the inside in – from major structures such as the roof and walls, to such relatively small factors as weatherstripping and caulking.
The council will also discuss the 9th Street project, and consider a demolition request for 411 8th Street.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 at the village hall.
