Copper Country Senior Meals Hires Jessica Mills as New Assessor

Copper Country Senior meals will have a new face in their office. The local meal delivery nonprofit has hired Jessica Mills, as their new assessor. During this time Mills will work with the group’s current assessor to transition into the position.

Mills says the role of assessor interested her because it gives her the opportunity to meet with the community and help provide resources that are needed. And is able to speak with seniors and help them find the resources they need in their journey to stay in their homes as long as possible.

At first, Mills will call seniors in the community and help determine what needs each senior has, and what the service provide to make life a little easier. Mills was born and raised in the Copper Country, growing up, going to school at Lake Linden – Hubbell High School, and attending Finlandia University, before finding her way to Copper Country Senior Meals. She hopes to meet and serve many in the community.
