Overnight Paving Begins in Harvey; Forest Road Work Starts Near Bergland

Traffic will be disrupted this week at the busy M-28/US-41 intersection in Harvey, east of Marquette.

The intersection will be repaved as part of a larger project stretching three miles south on US-41.

Because of the heavy traffic, paving at the intersection will be done at night, to minimize disruption.

Motorists should expect delays from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. from tonight through Thursday night. If needed, crews may also need to work Friday night.

Ontonagon County road crews will begin work today on Forest Roads 400 and 630 northeast of Bergland. They’ll be installing ditching, culverts, gravel, and performing other maintenance. It’s a joint project with the U.S. Forest Service.
