Four Ontonagon County students have received college scholarships from MI-TRALE.
The $250 awards from the Marvin Westerdahl Memorial Scholarship Fund were awarded to Senia Kolpack and Madison Myhren from Ontonagon High School, and Jaden D Borseth and Brianna Schutz from Ewen-Trout Creek High School.
The scholarship fund was established by Westerdahl’s family in honor of the long-time MI-TRALE board member.
Winners are selected based on grade point average, community service and the students’ plans for their futures.
