Lane Closures Continue as Bridge Project Nears End

Watch for another lane closure on the Houghton-Hancock Bridge again this week, as the lengthy repair project closes in on the finish line.

Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation will shut down the outside southbound lane through Friday. They’ll be doing some minor concrete patching, and working on the curb on the lower bridge deck.

The bridge project is expected to be completed in early June.
