The Portage Lake District Library has a new director.
Katrina Linde-Moriarty will start work at the library on Monday.
Linde-Moriarty previously served as director of the public library in Monticello, Wisconsin – a small town south of Madison. She holds a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology and history from the University of Oregon and a Master’s in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Linde-Moriarty is familiar with the Upper Peninsula, and backpacked throughout the UP this past summer.
