Green Acres Rd. Traffic Light Work Starts Today

The Michigan Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin maintenance work on the traffic signal at the intersection of M-26 and Green Acres Road today.

Crews will upgrade the signal control systems and traffic detection cameras.

The work may require intermittent brief lane closures and signal interruptions. If all goes on schedule, the project should be completed on Thursday.

MDOT is asking drivers to be cautious at the intersection, to prevent crashes, and protect the workers.
