The Baraga Chamber of Commerce is holding their first Mix and Mingle event this Friday. The event is a chance for local business owners, residents, and chamber members to network and meet people outside their main circle. At the mix and mingle will be a brown bag auction. The proceeds from the auction will go toward the chamber’s scholarship program. That awards a scholarship to a student in the L’Anse and Baraga High Schools, as well as the alternative school.
Doors at the Baraga Lakeside Inn open at 5:30. All the chamber asks is to enjoy the night and bid on a brown bag during the auction. Entrance to the mix and mingle is free to the public. Appetizers and refreshments will be available during the event.
