Michigan Tech’s accounting majors are available to aid in tax prep this year. The 20 year old program, offers MTU students to gain experience working on tax filing, and get involved with the community. This year’s program is available by appointment only, walk-ins are not allowed. Tax filing appointments will be at the Tidwell Center Conference Room in the Academic Office Building on campus. The volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) program will go until April 14th. Those seeking assistance should bring with them any W-2, 1099, 1098T, or other income information. Appointments are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Links below will take you the program’s appointment calendar, and for more information about the program.
