Kenneth Robert Ripley II, age 44 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 as a result of a automobile accident.
He was born July 1, 1977 in Flint, MI son of Kenneth Ripley and Carolyn (Stephens) Ripley. Ken grew up in Flint and moved to L’Anse in 1989. He worked in the woods and for Collin’s Saw Mill. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors, fishing, hunting, collecting rocks, beach-wood, and beach glass, and spending time with his dad’s dog Kisa. He loved life, was humorous and charismatic, and always laughing. More then anything he loved his daughters Paige and Leia.
Surviving are his father Kenneth Ripley of L’Anse; mother Carolyn Ripley of Neguanee; daughters Paige and Leia Ripley; brothers, Jim (Abbie) Ripley of Flint, Robert Ripley of L’Anse, Danny (Jennifer) Ripley of L’Anse, Charles “Chuck” Ripley of Arizona; sister Victoria Ripley of L’Anse.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future at the L’Anse Waterfront Park. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
