Blizzard Warning for Keweenaw County

Residents in Keweenaw County are preparing for a blizzard that will start showing up later tonight. The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for Keweenaw County beginning tonight at 7 and will continue until late Saturday night. Meteorologist Dave Terrin explains.

Terrin says a storm system like this is not unusual for areas north of the bridge.

The storm will dump 3 to 6 inches of snow on the Keweenaw and wind chills are expected to drop to as low as 30 below zero.
