Calumet Theatre hosting partial season

Three shows will make up the Calumet Theatre’s fall season, starting tomorrow night with the Boy Band Review. If you grew up in the 90’s on N*Sync, Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block and more, you know what will be featured. Marketing Director Bethany Jones says you should expect a high energy, up-tempo pop sound. Tickets are general admission and cost $25.00.

Jones says November 5th will be the signature concert for the year.

We were able to confirm Joe Nichols. He is absolutely the biggest country star I’ve seen booked here in the 10 years I’ve been doing marketing for events in the Copper Country.

There will also be a Christmas concert on December 14th featuring the Texas Tenors.

Monday is the theatre’s Annual Meeting. Members hail from around the country and Jones says she is working on ensuring that everyone will have a chance to participate.

I am in the process of setting up a Zoom. We have to upgrade our service. We weren’t planning on using it for upwards of 300 people. We have around 340 members and we want to make sure that for those that live out of the area, that they’ll be able to participate.

They are hoping to add four new board members during the election process.
