All are invited to an open house at UP Health System’s Calumet Express Care Clinic Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00. The building is not new, but expanded operations will make it accessible for more people than ever before. Since it opened, the clinic was staffed three days a week, but that is changing to uniform hours every day. Angela Luskin explains when to use Express Care versus an emergency room.
The Calumet location is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, syncing it with the Houghton clinic located on Sharon Avenue. UP Health’s Calumet site is on US-41, and features x-ray capabilities, plus a couple of other features that make it unique.
At the open house, you’ll have the chance to meet the care providers, enjoy a meal, and receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
