Organizers are working hard to stuff all the fun of the Aura Jamboree into one day. It all happens Saturday outside on the grounds surrounding the community hall. KBear 102’s Todd VanDyke is a long-time participant in the Jamboree. He details how this year’s program will work.
There will be some concessionaires and other food vendors on-site. Normally, the hall plays host to dances Friday and Saturday night, but those will not happen this year.
The Jamboree usually features traditional Finnish music, country, bluegrass, and other genres as well. VanDyke says it’s easy to find Aura. Signage will be provided from downtown L’Anse directing visitors as they head north through Skanee.
