Houghton Community Broadcasting picks up three more awards

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters continues to hand out its 2020 Broadcast Excellence Awards, with your favorite radio stations picking up three additional trophies. 97.7 The Wolf got a merit award Tuesday for feature programming based on the submission of our piece, “COVID-19 and Kids.”

On Wednesday, 97.7 The Wolf got a merit award for Copper Country Today in the best feature category and a second merit acknowledgement for the COVID-19 section on the station’s website.

Thursday features individual awards for best personalities, including morning show and sports play-by-play. On Friday, the MAB will announce Station of the Year, which goes to the station that has accumulated the most points throughout the week.
