Copper Country COVID Numbers Remain Moderate

The numbers of confirmed COVID-19 infections in the Copper Country continue to be moderate. Reporting schedules have been disrupted somewhat by the holidays, but here are the latest figures from the state.

Since Christmas…
• Houghton County has reported 23 cases.
• Baraga County has reported seven cases.
• Keweenaw County has confirmed three cases.
• Ontonagon County has reported two cases.

After falling for the past month, statewide totals swung back upward yesterday, with 4,222 new cases reported, along with 51 deaths.
