Margaret “Marge” Lombardi, 93, a former South Range resident, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020, at PortagePointe where she had been a resident since 2017.
She was born January 22, 1927, in Trimountain, a daughter of the late Vincent and Martha (Parenti) Lombardi, and was a 1944 graduate of the Painesdale High School.
Marge moved from Trimountain to South Range in 1963 to make her home.
Marge was employed at Houghton National Bank for 41 years, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of South Range.
Marge is survived by a nephew, Martin “Marty” (Gale) Iskra of Trimountain;
five nieces, Mary (Jeff) Fitzner of Greenville, Mich, Joan (Ben) Koskiniemi of Tucson, Ariz., Martha (Frank) Cuff of Lake Linden, Pat (Alan) Webster of Tampa, Fla., Mary Lou Kessler of Menifee, Calif.; as well as numerous cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents, Marge was also preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Fiore “Butch”; and two sisters, Mary Lombardi and Elsie Iskra.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Range, with Fr. John Martignon as celebrant. In keeping with Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton.
