Not a Trick – Marquette Sheriff’s Truck Stolen

Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt’s first thought was that someone on his staff had pulled a trick on him.

Zyburt walked out of a Marquette radio station after an interview yesterday morning, to find his truck missing.

As his deputies were denying involvement, a call came in about a sheriff’s vehicle in a ditch on Forestville Road.

It was Zyburt’s truck, which had apparently been stolen while he was at the radio station.

Zyburt says he’s sure he locked the truck. He had the keys with him.

A K-9 unit tracked down a suspect, who was arrested a short time later.
