Free Michigan COVID-19 Test Sites Growing

The  Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is expanding the number of free COVID-19 testing sites available.

Partnerships with Walgreens and the Michigan Primary Care Association will add 77 new sites, and bring the total number of free testing locations across the state to nearly 100.

The Walgreens stores in Marquette, Ironwood and Iron Mountain are included in the network. The Houghton Walgreens store is not.

No-cost testing is available through the Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center in Houghton. No doctor’s order is needed, but you do need to call 483-1860 to set an appointment, and be screened.
