Road Work In Hancock Pushed Back To September 8th

Due to equipment breakdowns, the road work set to begin in Hancock on Sunday night, has been pushed back until September 8th.

MDOT was set to begin work on a 2.5 mile stretch of US 41 beginning at M 203 and going to Lake Annie Road.

Work to be done includes asphalt resurfacing and widening, concrete curb and gutter installation sidewalk ramps and pavement markings.

Originally set to wrap up on September 4th, the new completion date is September 15th, weather permitting.
