James “Jim” “Studs” Studebaker, 64, a resident of Allouez passed away on Saturday August 22, 2020 at his home.
He was born on January 10, 1956 to Lester and Geraldine (June) Studebaker. He attended Blanc High School, and graduated from Mackinaw City with the Class of 1974. Following high school, Jim enlisted with the United States Air Force. He was a fireman in Air Force, and was honorably discharged in 1976.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Jim began working for General Motors. He started on the assembly line and then went on to retire as a skills tradesman. While in Flint, Jim enjoyed watching minor league hockey games.
Jim enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, and in his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing darts. Jim was also a longtime faithful member of the Republican Party.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Geraldine Studebaker.

And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held in the Veterans Section of the Lake View Cemetery on Monday August 31, 2020 at 11:00 am.
Following the graveside service, a celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the Calumet Golf Course.
