For many years, Houghton and Hancock businesses have welcomed Michigan Tech students to the area by offering discounts and swag at Afternoon on the Town.
Because of COVID-19 concerns, this year’s event is being moved online.
It will take place August 29th. Students will be able to log on, browse through information from local businesses, and register to win prizes.
Participation in the online event is free for local businesses.
