According to the Detroit Free Press, a federal judge has ordered that the gray wolf be put back on the endangered species list. This decision will further ban wolf hunting and trapping in three states: Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell in Washington, D.C., ruled today that the removal was “arbitrary and capricious” and violated the federal Endangered Species Act. A link to the full story is here.
