Michigan Tech Sets Up Temporary COVID-19 Testing Tent

Please stay away from the COVID-19 testing tent on Michigan Tech’s Campus.

This in an email from Michigan Tech.

A 40 by 40 tent was recently put up on Tech’s campus, between the Chemical Sciences building and the Electrical Energy Resources Center.

The tent will be used to test approximately 2,200 students, when they return to Michigan Tech starting on August 21st.

Testing will begin on August 12th, with Resident Assistants, then student-athletes will get the test on the 18th.

Testing is voluntary and is free.

Crews are working to turn the tent into a testing site, adding electricity, WiFi and Furniture.

Michigan Tech Emergency Medical Services staff will assist Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center staff, in performing the tests
