You’re Invited To Support Law Enforcement At Blue Line Support Walk

If you support law enforcement, you’re invited to join the Blue Line Support Walk, next Friday, at 5:30pm.

The walk will meet at the Krist Food Mart in Houghton, then proceed through town, and over the bridge.

In recent weeks, police departments all over the country have come under fire, due to two black suspects dying, at the hands of police.

Some cities have gone as far as to cut or even eliminate funding for police departments, and have vowed to divert the funding to social programs.

Members of the community have even called for this to happen  here in Houghton and Hancock in recent weeks.
