The Enbridge Company has awarded several community safety grants to public safety agencies in the western Upper Peninsula.
$7,500 grants went to the Michigan State Police Post at Wakefield, the Iron County Sheriff’s Office, Iron County Emergency Management and 911, and the Wakefield Fire Department.
The Enbridge Safe Community Program provides grants to first responder agencies along the company’s Line Five pipeline corridor.
