Michigan Tech students have some new programs they can choose from thanks to a new college approved for establishment at MTU’s Board of Control meeting on Friday. The Pavlis Honors College, named after 1938 MTU alumnus Frank E. Pavlis, will feature academic programs like the Enterprise program and the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program. The Board also approved two new master’s degree programs. One will grant a Master of Science in Kinesiology through the Department of Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology. The other will award a Master of Science in Accounting from the School of Business and Economics.
